Amanda & Aina Engagement in Leo Carrillo, Malibu Part II

Lovely golden California sunset must be one of the most beautiful lighting...I like this batch a lot...Both of them has loosen up by this time..and so did I...we finished off our shoot on the beach...it got really cold by 6pm!

And she's so beautiful...

Oh yes have forgotten to mention above...Amanda & Aina spend many mornings on this beach, since Aina is a surfer!

The look of true love :)

It was so windy...I love how her dress was flowing in the wind.

Amanda & Aina Engagement in Leo Carrillo, Malibu Part I

Amanda wanted to have some simple causal engagement photos done with her fiancé, Aina! Amanda and I started emailing and chatting on the phone, I wanted to know more about them so that I had her email to me some snapshots of themselves. Right after seeing their photos, I felt these two definitely belong to the outdoor! I asked Amanda if she has any ideas where she would want the pictures to be taken...I suggested to her that it will be much more meaningful down the road looking back at these pictures, if she chooses a location which means something to them...After a couple of days, she wrote me back and suggested Leo Carrillo Beach, Malibu! It was a little bit of a challenge since during the weekend the park is usually packed with campers. We began shooting around the park, then we walked up a little to one of the trials! Stay tune for more pictures taken on the beach later!

Chilling under the trees on the camp ground...

Hopefully Amanda's Mom will be happy with this shot! :)

Amanda brought along her favorite daises...

We hiked up one of the trial's head!

We were surrounded by lavender, it smelled so soooo nice....

The sun was descending quickly behind the mountains with the canyon...

Chit chat...

Aina made funny faces made us all laugh!

Again I was at El Matador, Malibu

First I gotta thank my classmate Judy Wan for setting up today's fun shoot! I did not know what to anticipate, not knowing what the models were going to look like, what kind of wardrobe they were bringing. But everything worked out and it was all good surprises. I was paired to shoot with Rebekka and her boyfriend Dana, who himself is an amazing photographer. Rebekka posed so nicely, I love her posture and she was so natural and at ease during the shoot. Dana gave me so many good tips on photography and was so good at working the reflectors! I love this pair, they are so dynamic together, and so hilarious I kept cracking up throughout the shoot!
